What We Did
The site had very unstable ground leading to extensive groundwork implications. In order to stabilise a building in this position, a creative design was required that could provide a retaining wall effect to the hillside and also create a suitably sensitive building for this woodland setting. The result is a delicately designed series of houses that perch among the trees, overlooking a valley beyond. With a strong emphasis on the aesthetics this design has overcome a problem and created a unique, experiential feature dwelling.
