THE MARKET

Where

BRADFORD

What We Did

With retail sales being affected nationwide by the increasing use of online shopping, all city centres are facing challenges. It can be seen that city centres do need to evolve and in many cases it is necessary to introduce more experiential outlets as well as more residential uses. Markets have been seen to be very successful in many cases, where the offer is seen to be authentic, individual and value driven. This proposal is part of a broader strategy to increase footfall into certain parts of Bradford’s city centre and to create a platform for new entrepreneurial operators.
