POP-UP AT THE ROYAL ACADEMY

What We Did

A pop-up café was required for the courtyard of London’s Royal Academy. Such a historically sensitive setting requires a very carefully considered design. The installation had to be suitably visionary in its form, whilst not detracting from the courtyard’s art installations. Our design was made from a technologically advanced bio-surface material that purified the air around it. The form was contrastingly contemporary but unobtrusive. The angled form reduced its visual impact when entering the courtyard and the openings were designed to encourage a clear directional process to using the facility in order to maximise the potential footfall into the pop-up café.
