What We Did
In designing our own offices, we had the luxury of being our own clients. One of the key objectives of the design was to create a stimulating environment for the team and visitors alike. As a historic former hotel building it was necessary to renovate the building very sympathetically and not undermine its past. This was successfully achieved by reinforcing certain architectural features such as the circular bar in the main saloon and retaining the original grand piano. However, the addition of an actual tail fin from an RAF Tornado fighter jet in reception probably gets the most attention.
